Golden Gate App is a proprietary app of Paytm. This app can be used by Paytm's partners to initiate the process of on-boarding other Partners and Upgrading Wallets (by completing KYC) of Paytm customers.

Golden Gate App allows you to earn commissions for every customer KYC / Partner onboarding that you complete successfully.

To login into Golden Gate App, please use the Username and Password you use to login on Paytm app. To use the app though, you will need to be authorized by Paytm first and access will have to be enabled by KYC Operations team first. No, you can’t buy or sell any Paytm products through Golden Gate App.

Golden Gate App doesn’t support these devices currently.

Golden Gate App is not open for public distribution. Golden Gate App is only available to select Paytm partners.

Yes, Golden Gate App works just as well on 2G networks.

To reset your password, click on Forgot Password in the login screen. Enter your phone number or password and click on Proceed. You will get an OTP on your number. Enter this OTP and then enter your new password.

KYC stands for "Know Your Customer".
This is a process to identify and verify a customer’s details using their proof of address and proof of identity documents.
Acceptable documents for proof of address and identity are: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving license, Passport and NREGA Job Card.

Yes, you can do customer’s KYC through Golden Gate App only if the mobile number of the customer is registered on Paytm.

You can download the Paytm App for the customer in their device and create their account.

With a non-upgraded wallet you cannot add more than Rs. 20,000/- in a calendar month.
This is as per regulations set by the Reserve Bank of India.
As a result, the transactions that this customer can do are limited.
Also, there can be delays in getting cash-back if the monthly limit of adding Rs. 20,000 gets exceeded.
You can upgrade your wallet for FREE by getting your KYC (Know Your Customer) done. With an upgraded wallet you can store upto Rs. 1 Lakh at any point of time and there is no limit on how much you can spend in a given month.

There are two ways in which you can upgrade a customer's wallet -
1. Using Biometric (Fingerprint Scan) eKYC: If the customer has an Aadhaar card and a fingerprint scanning device is available with you, then you can follow this approach.
2. Uploading Pictures of Proof of Identity & Address: You can follow this approach when customer does not have Aadhaar card and/or fingerprint scanner is not available.

Upgrade happens instantly in the case of Biometric eKYC. When pictures are uploaded of Proof of Identity & Address, wallet will be upgraded within 3 working days from the date of submitting customer details.

The balance in an upgraded wallet cannot exceed Rs. 1,00,000 at any point in time. Also, the total amount that a customer can send to other Paytm customers or to any bank account is capped at Rs 25,000 for a calendar month.

Click on the Resend Paytm Code button on the screen where you have to enter the Paytm Code.

In case the customer has Aadhaar card and you have a Biometric scanner, Biometric eKYC can be done and Customers identity and address details will be fetched from Aadhaar servers. Else, simply capture photos of the front and back of the original identity and address proof document available with the customer using Golden Gate App.

You need to fill the customer’s mobile number, place and date.
Additionally, you must ask the customer to sign their name.

After you have taken pictures of the signed customer slip, you can hand it over to the customer.

Paytm shall deduct only 10% tax in case you have shared your valid PAN number. Else, the tax deduction rate will be 20%.

All of your payouts will be accompanied with a SMS on your registered mobile number.
This SMS shall contain all details of the payout including the amount earned before & after tax and applicable tax rate.
Paytm shall also send an SMS containing a link to the TDS certificate. This SMS shall be sent quarterly.
You will not receive this SMS in-case you have not shared your correct PAN details with Paytm.
